Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how MPSoftware ("Uncloud", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use Uncloud's website, mobile applications, storage nodes, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
1. Information We Collect
Account information. When you create an account we collect information such as your name, email address, and profile picture, either directly or through a sign-in provider such as Google.
Node and device information. We collect information about the storage nodes you register, such as node identifiers, connection status, and configuration, so we can route connections between your devices and your nodes.
File content. Files are encrypted on your device before they are uploaded to the node. We do not have the ability to read the contents of your files.
Usage data. We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (Plausible) to understand aggregate usage of our website, such as which pages are visited. This does not track you individually across sites.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and secure the Service; authenticate you and connect you to your nodes; process payments for subscriptions; communicate with you about your account or the Service; and improve and troubleshoot the Service.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Service (for example, authentication, hosting, and payment processing providers), each bound to use it only to provide services to us, or when required to comply with applicable law.
4. Data Security
Files are encrypted on your device before they leave it, and connections between your devices and your nodes are established over secure channels. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and while we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Retention
We retain account information for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time, after which we will delete or anonymize your account information except where we are required to retain it for legal or accounting purposes.
6. Your Choices and Rights
You can access and update your account information at any time through the Service. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information; you can exercise these rights by contacting us using the information below.
7. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the Service.
